2010 Spring Series

-Race dates: May 15, 22, 29, and June 5, 12, 19
-6 races with 1 drop/throwout. 
-Points awarded as shown to the right.
-Trophies to the TOP 3 finishers in each class.
-Each race includes 3 qualifiers and a main event.

-Cost: $10 Members / $15 Associate Members Per Race.
-You must run a minimum of 4 races to qualify for an award.

-Off-Road Classes: 1:8 Buggy, Truggy, Monster Truck, and Slash
-Oval Classes: 1:10 Stadium, and Late Model

All classes require a minimum of 3 entries to run the class.

By awarding points to the Top Qualifier, a strong emphasis will be placed on qualifying. The main events will truly be main events, as that's where the points will be determined. However there is plenty of incentive to qualify well for the 2 points and a pole starting position in the main.

Series Tie Breaker

The method for breaking a tie in the final point standings of the series races will be as follows;

In the event 2 or more drivers are tied in the points, after the finish of the series, we will break the tie with this method. First tie breaker will be wins. Tied driver with the most wins takes the championship. In the event the drivers are still tied after the first analysis, we will compare TQ's. Most TQ's in series wins. In the event they are still tied after these analysis, we will go back and look for the fastest time they ran in their best main event finish. This will then determine the tie breaker.

Rain Outs

In the event of a rainout during the series, that missed race would be counted as a throwout for all racers. The series would still be based on your best 6 weeks of racing.

If a second rainout occurs, then the series will be shortened to your best 5 races.
